We would like to inform you that Moxa is going to make changes to the MDS-G4000 Series and MDS-G4000-4XGS Series.
We would like to inform you that Moxa is going to make changes to the MDS-G4000 Series and MDS-G4000-4XGS Series. These changes will be implemented in a running change from March 30, 2026. Please review the details below to determine how these changes will affect your products and/or operations.
What will change?
Changes will be made to the MDS-G4000 Series and MDS-G4000-4XGS Series to ensure continued platform security and long-term component availability. These changes are internal, with no impact on form or fit, while the certifications will be updated.
The following changes will be implemented in the new versions:- MDS-G4000-4XGS Series
- Changes to the layout because of the component end-of-life.
- Updates FPGA code to support LM-7000H-2GPHR V2.0.0.*
- Changes to the layout to align with the MDS-G4000-4XGS design.

When will the new versions be available?
- We will perform a running change to the MDS-G4000 Series and the MDS-G4000-4XGS Series from March 30, 2026.
- Since this is a running change, please contact your sales representative to explicitly request MDS-G4000-4XGS Series HW Rev. 2.0.0 for products that require an LM-7000H-2GPHR module. This module already supports the PT-G7728 and MDS-G4000 Series (non-L3 series only); the update only adds support for the MDS-G4000-4XGS Series (non-L3 series only).
