Please review the details below to determine how these changes will affect your products and/or operations.

What will change?

Hardware Changes

1. Support new separately sold Wi-Fi module “UC-8200-WLAN22-AC”, due to original Wi-Fi module “UC-8200 WiFi-AC” key component EoL (End of Life).
2. Support active GPS antenna.
3. For UC-8220-T-LX-EU-S, Change LTE Cat.4 module from u-blox TOBY-L210 to Telit LE910C4 for more stable connection.

Software Changes

1. OS updated from Moxa Industrial Linux to version 1.1.0. For details, please visit https://docs.moxa.online/mil/.
2. Bootloader
• Supports Admin password for Bootloader configuration menu to enhance security.
• Adding an option to install OS image from USB
• Adding an option to boot from a USB drive.
• Add an option to clear TPM

When will the new versions be available?

The new model revision is estimated to be available after June 2022.
The stock consumption rate of the current product revision may result in earlier or later available date than the estimated date.
